the website was started in 1999.

It's interesting that Christopher and Heidita's join date are Dec. 2007 (Old Timer's here).

I've been here a year and my join date says that I joined yesterday.

I think that someone should rap the clock here with a hammer a few times or flip the page on the calendar.

Maybe the clock just needs new batteries. When is the last time that you changed them?

At least I have been here longer than Lazarus and Quentin. Mind you, when you see what they have posted in a few days, wow!!!

Hi Toph, I believe I joined sometime in January 2008. As quentin said, give the calender a nudge.

Just checked and my first answer post was on 17 January 2008 but I am sure I joined on 15 January 2008.

My reading of the situation is that whilst the site is some 10 years old, between 1999 and late in 2007 the site appeared to meander along. It may well have been a family venture, not too sure about this. It would appear that in December of 2007 Christopher decided to get personally involved in the site and try to make it the best Spanish learning site on the web. To this end it has been necessary to make many changes in order to improve the site year on year to what it is today. Let's hope he continues to remain motivated and provide further innovations.

Cherry has her own website now. The site is not very active, neither is she (retired). I do not like her site's look and feel either.
