Español: Me llamo Joshua Alexander y soy de Houston, TX. Tengo casí 19 años de edad y he visto y aprendido mucho sobre la vida (gracias a todas las personas que hasta ya he conocido). Me gustaría conocerles que tienen la mente abierta y que además tienen algo intelectual que decirme.

Inglés: My name is Joshua Alexander and I am from Houston, TX. I am nearly 19 years of age, and have seen and learned much about life (thanks to all of the people I have met up to now). I would like to meet those who have an open mind, as well as those who have something intellectual to say.

Esta frase no se puede decir así, Izan. Many natives even forget the de after seguro...

My translation in Spanish would be this:

Español: Me llamo Joshua Alexander y soy de Houston, TX. Tengo casí 19 años de edad y he visto y aprendido mucho sobre la vida (gracias a todas las personas que hasta ahora he conocido). Me gustaría conocer a aquellas (personas) que tengan una mente abierta, además de aquellas (personas) que tengan algo inteligente que decir.

"Intelectual" sounds quite odd in Spanish. But "inteligente" sounds too pompous in this context. We would say: "interesante".

Creo que open-minded people quiere decir las personas amplias o las personas razonables o las personas sin prejuicios.

Have I just heard that “tengo una mente (o una mentalidad) abierta” does not exist? It does exist and it is quite used in Spanish. Perhaps what you mean is that its meaning is “no tener prejuicios o ser razonable o no tener unas ideas demasidado conservadoras”, don’t you? Notice that I am a Spanish speaker and it would be strange that I was wrong in something like this.
