I like it. If I can understand it, then I'm sure that the fellow who mows the lawn (and actually speaks Spanish) can figure it out.
It a lot better than: Por favor, no corta el césped tan bajo or something like that, that I would have come up with.
I can think of something like this:
Por favor, ponga el cortacésped un punto más alto que la semana pasada para que el césped no quede tan corto. Gracias.
Or simply what Quentin said: NO deje el césped tan corto. /no lo corte tanto
