I am not sure if it is suppose to me morado or morada

I think that you must say "Las uvas son muradas". In fact, if you mean to be saying that the grapes have turned purple as a result of having become ripe, you might even have to say "Las uvas están moradas."

  • Please, Mr./Ms. Administrator, delete my answer if it is wrong. I am getting a bit daring with such an answer. I might have better just suggested that "las uvas" are feminine plural and the adjective must be "moradas" and been done with it. - Janice 23 de Ago, 2009 marcar

You would have to say: "Las uvas son moradas". Since "las uvas" is a feminine, and in this case, plural noun, you must change the adjective so it agrees in both gender and number with the it, thus: moradas (the "a" indicating feminine, the "s" indicating plurality.)

It would have to be "las uvas son moradas" in order to match with gender and number. Hope this helps! smile
