Hi, I'm trying to track down a supplier of soap nuts or wash nuts here in Mexico, but since I don't have the spanish word for it, it's not very easy...

The latin name for this tree or shrub is Sapindus mukorossi or Sapindus Saponaria. Anyone out there that can help? Many thanx in advance

I took the botanical name you provided and found the English Wikipedia article. Then I changed the "en" in the URL to "es" and was surprised to get this result:

Sapindus

Here is one paragraph of the text I found there:

But there is more!! An external link: Sapindus Mukorossi en España!! Have a look: Nueces de Lavado

  • Thank you! I've finally managed to log in again after a month of trying unsuccessfully. - Mz-Badger 12 de Sep, 2009 marcar

Thank you Naidu, The import/export regulators gave us so much trouble that after 18 months and a lost shipment we gave up trying to import this excellent product.
