Many foreign words or technical words are not translated and are used as they are in the original language that they were conceived in or modified slighly to allow for better pronunciation if some of the sounds don't exist in that language.

I normally see the English word blog rendered as blog in Spanish websites.

How do you say "déjá vu" in Spanish?..."Déjá vu". It is French and no matter what language you use it is still a French term. "Blog" is word that will remain "blog" in any language.

The word Blog probably did not even exist 15 years ago. It is a short for web + log, and it is normally not translated.
