ASK A QUESTION Help translating: "This fact would pass muster in court"
Hello, I need help with a translation.
I have this paragraph:
"No one on earth would ever skip two volumes in the middle of Akazukin Chacha. I am absolutely sure this fact would pass muster in court."
My translation:
I don't know how to translate that, would you help me?
Thanks in advance.

Surely, it should be "wouldn't pass muster".
No, I think it is correct as "would pass muster." I think the point is that "this fact" would hold up even under courtroom scrutiny.
Thank you very much! ![]()
