It was under a picture of a horse drawn carriage as 'Anduvimos en mateo.'

By the way, this came from a broadcast
"DESTINOS
An Introduction to Spanish"
aired on (public) UNC TV.

It is a horse and carriage. I found the word mateo in this passage and then it was later translated. It is near the word Palermo if you want to find it on the page. I opened it and then did a word search and located it. Farther down the page is the translation.

Very educational web page. I found one thing odd "y el martes es el tercer día de la semana". I thought most (more-less) Roman Catholic countries the first day of the week is Monday.
