What is VENA A OJO. I bought some from the butcher. It's NOT chicken.

Please give me a straight answer. I lost 10 points because of somebody fooling around.

  • You may just be spelling it incorrectly? Is it a poultry meat like chicken? (duck, quail, pheasant, goose, etc) - qfreed Aug 8, 2009 flag

Sorry but you have not written well, I speak perfect Spanish and that phrase does not exist, VENA is one thing, OJO is another. Vena means VEINS y Ojo means EYE... you see? That is not a valid phrase or sentence. Best returns to read and write properly and consulted again.

Thank's Katherina. On the label from the Butcher, it says VENA A OJO. I know one is vein and one is eye, but why is this meat called this. I asked if it was VACA and she said yes. But don't know why they call it this. Maybe it's a local thing. The meat I normally use is called COMPONER. Is this local too.

By the way, you put consulted (past tense) instead of consult.

QUE TENGAS UN BUEN DIA!!! SALUDOS. Frank,
